pours a hazy turbid golden amber with a very thick head. best looking Conclave beer i've ever had
smell is creamy and fruity. sweet fruit but not citrus. almost a melon-y aroma
taste is fucking great. tons of fruit in this, melon-y flavor as well. so damn creamy, very full body in a good way. this body with different hops would be my heaven. i think taking a hop out and adding Simcoe to this would be pure magic. so god damn creamy i can't stop sipping

I had this on draught in a tavern. 12 oz. pour served in a tulip glass. It pours a turbid, dirty gold color with a fluffy, bright white head and generous lacing. It's a pretty pour. It has a nice nose although I expected more: grapefruit, pine, floral hops, and a whiff of tangerine. The sweetness really comes through in the taste, though. There's caramel and sweet citrus up front. The hops don't seem particularly bitter on the tongue but they do leave a decidedly bitter aftertaste. This ale is medium-bodied and almost creamy in feel, with pleasant carbonation. The 8% ABV gives it a nice kick but it doesn't seem boozy. Overall, this is a big DIPA, fully of flavor. It has a nice blend of sweet and bitter and is thoroughly satisfying.
