This beer was brewed in memory of my Great Uncle, a WWII and Korean War Veteran, one of the few survivors of the Battle of Chosin, and a Member of the Chosin Few. This IPA is brewed with Pilsner, loads of oats and dry hopped with copious amounts of Citra and El Dorado. A great beer for a truly memorable Marine and Hero.

From a growler, pours a fully hazed OJ. Two fingers of foam leave lots of lacing. Nice.
Smell starts out with bright pine, mango and oranges, then moves to stone fruit as it warms. Taste is similar. Bit of orange pith bitterness. Light feel. Smell and taste are a little muted for the style, or I would have rated higher. Still, a good beer.

pours a turbid hazy ass gold with a thick head, looks nearly perfect
smell is crisp sweetness, some orange citrus to this. zesty orange
taste is creamy and smooth yet bitter and full of citrus zest. full of flavor for a 6% IPA
