On draft at the brewery. It pours an opaque, bright orange color with a half finger of creamy, bright white head and soapy lacing. It smells of lemon, lime, tangerine, and ripe melon. The taste opens with tart, bitter lemon and grapefruit but as it breaths and warms in the glass there is increasing orange/tangerine, peach, and melon. There are also hints of pinot gris. The balance between tart and sweet citrus is great. This ale is medium-bodied with surprisingly lively carbonation, and it drinks quite easily for 8% ABV. Overall, Lilting Grace is highly flavorful and easy-drinking. It's a typically fine Conclave DIPA that many brewers could only dream of making.
