Always wanting to experiment with new hop varieties, we take you to the Alsace Region of France, to introduce Barbe Rouge. We always feel the best way to showcase a new hop is to formulate a simple grist for the recipe, quality 2 Row, flaked oats, dash of white wheat. Then pairing Barbe Rouge with Hallertau Mittelfruh, which we felt would compliment each other, you get a light, smooth, floral beer, fit for Royalty.

Lovely berry notes in the aroma, balanced palate has the same subtle berry flavors, flowers and herbs, late dank character that’s very appealing. Modest but present bitterness, medium light, soft feel with gentle carbonation. So well executed. Conclave is consistently knocking their hoppy beers out of the park.
