Much like the voluminous foamy cap on a freshly poured pilsner, pillow drops are the highly technical ski lines that take you flying through boulder fields capped with mounds of fresh fluffy powder. This pils has a dry biscuity malt backbone, delicate floral aromas balanced by some bitterness and a crisp finish.

A pretty good American pilsner. A bit toward the more bitter end of the scale, but it does a good job with providing and enduring taste profile. Despite the description on the can, the head was not voluminous, but just average. Canned on 12/29/23 and sampled on 4/18/2024. I would prefer The Shop Beer Co Crispy over this one, but that may be due to the freshness of a local beer.

From Beer Drop. Canned June 10th.
It pours a clear gold with a small head of foam that shrinks to a fine layer. Lacing is good.
The smell is biscuit malt, floral hops, lemon.
The taste is biscuit, lemon, some hop bitterness just before and during the finish where the beer gets quite dry.
Good mouthfeel, good "Colorado Pilsner".

Nice golden color, clear but not brilliant, nose is floral, slightly fruity and bready with a nice malt aroma. Flavor is not as complex, earthy, bready, bitterness isn’t as refined as it could be. Overall a nice clean lager, just lacking a bit of depth that the best examples show

Really tasty Pilsner among a sea of boring lagers. Also the tall can makes you feel like you’re getting extra beer for free.

Can. White head. Lace. Clear golden color.
Solid crispy boi. Bready and biscuity malts. Smells and tastes like brew house grains. A nice amount of floral and earthy hops. Tastes like German noble hops. Dry, crisp, clean, light bodied.
