Served at the brewery. Arrived with no head at all. Golden straw, with decent carbonation. Faint aroma of clean grain. Taste was adequate-what you'd expect of style. Nothing remarkable, though no offensive off flavors.
Def crushable, and would try again outside on a hot summer day paired with food.

From Beer Drop, no dating on the can.
Pours a clear pale gold with an inch of foam, good retention, very good lacing.
Smell is mix of caramel malt, fruity as in aroma of lime, light bitterness.
Taste is malty, light hop bitterness, lime like taste, and a bit of an empty spot where I sense a watery profile.
Light body, adequate carbonation.
Not something that I would want to drink again.

A bit of haze in the gold body. Large, off white head and a small amount of lace. Herbal, salty aroma fades away after a few whiffs. Flavor is salty and a little corny followed by a light floral, herbal, lemony touch. Bitterness is modest. Smooth light bodied mouthfeel.

A clear gold color. Small white head, no lace.
Aroma of sweet malt and floral hops.
Taste of corn, light hops.
While light-bodied, it has a bit more body than I expected.
Good beer.

This is a mexican lager as billed. Maybe a bit of craft with a blend of saltiness, but not much more than that.Dewey has mich better offer than this one in Swishy Pants and Diamonds.

Had on tap at Specific Gravity. Very good Mexican lager in the true German -Mexican style. Great flavor; very nice smooth not overly carbonated mouthfeel.
Really enjoyed. One of the better American craft brewery attempts at emulating a a good lager.

Notes via stream of consciousness: I'm not sure what the current interest in Mexican lagers by American craft brewers is. It makes no sense to me. They used to piss all over beers like these and now they're making them. This one is brewed with corn, and clocks in at just 4.5% ABV. What's the joke about light beer and having sex in a canoe? Anyway, it's poured a hazy straw gold beneath a short head of bright white foam. The head retention is actually pretty good which is surprising. It will fall, yes, but the fact that it'll hold on for as long as it does is impressive. In the nose it has a kind of generic beer aroma with grainy malt and floral hops. The taste reveals those floral hops to be even stronger, and while I like that, it's not really authentic for a Mexican lager. It's subtly lemon-like, herbal, and even piney. The malt is like a water biscuit. A moderate bitterness is enough to balance it as there's not much there, and it finishes dry and floral with some sweetened lemon lingering. In the mouth it's light to light-medium in body and gently crisp-then-smooth. Looking back, although the head retention ws very good for the style the lacing couldn't keep up and I've got some minor patches here and there that are OK, but fairly par for the course. So if this is the throne, who is the rey that sits upon it? He must be un hombre delicado con su cuerpo delgado y perfume floral. All in all I like this beer because of its delicate floral, herbal, spicy, piney, and lemon-like undertones. I find it unique, and charming. I'll also say that it's certainly highly quaffable, but I wouldn't just drink this - drink this, it should be savored. If you just want something to chug there are Mexican lagers for that.

A - Light gold pour with sprightly carbonation and a thin lacing ring.
S - Has an adjunct corn/grainy aroma with some light citrus earthiness.
T - No surprise here: Grainy corn malt base with some light lemon and citrus over the top to balance things out. Balanced finish with a nice lingering earthy lemon citrus presence lurking afterwards.
M - Light medium body with prickly carbonation on the tongue.
O - Reviewing this beer for what it is, it actually has a decent personality for the style.
