Poured from the can into a tulip glass.
Real odd looking duck in the looks department. Deep opaque nearly turbid body, with a color that's somewhere between lighter tomato juice and a big dark orange mushy carrot. Head is about the same color just shaping lighter, looking like a big orange starburst candy or something. Head dissolves pretty quickly even from it's 3 finger height and no lace, leaving something that looks like it came out of a juicer.
The aroma is a little odd as well. Soft fruit and some actual decent acidity, but goes for a big orange candy aroma and a touch of sourness. There's a hint of candy vanilla and cream, but it comes across very weird in some ways. Lots of pulp like sensing flavors on the nose as well.
Palate continues much of the fruit juice character. Large big gulps of box tropical juice notes. Tangy orange, tropical fruit punch, with a good touch of sugars but nothing too crazy. Mouthfeel is a bit wet which contributes to much more of the boxed orange juice quality, and limits some degree the sourness as well. Finishes fruity and large, enjoyable, but with not much beer quality.
Tasty and easy drinking, but has way to much grocery store shelf juice quality to it. The beer even looks like it should be in a carton.
