Dewey Beer Co. "Secret Machine - Neapolitan - Raspberry, Almond, Chocolate, Vanilla"
16 fl. oz. can without production codes or freshness dating
$6.99 @ Total Wine & More, Claymont, DE
Look: It's a muddy kind of peach and brown thing beneath a short head that drops immediatey and leaves no lacing behind.
Smell: The chocolate is clear backed by notes of vanilla and berry. It's almost like opening a box of chocolatey and fruity pudding pops or something as the almond isn't clear but it's adding an almost cardboard like note.
Taste: The flavor is fruitier, and lightly tart, but also quite chocolatey. Everything that's promised is delivered. It finishes sweet/tart, berry-like, and lingering with chocolate that's like the coating of fake chocolate that covers an ice cream pop.
Feel: Medium bodied but "thick", and smooth with a moderate, fine-bubbled carbonation.
Overall: Nice for what it is.
