To the ends of the earth, will you hop with me? Our annual NoBo/SoBo tandem release showcases hop growing regions in the Northern & Southern Hemispheres. This year's expedition features some of that NEW-NEW: hops who can trace their lineage to New Mexico and New Zealand! NoBo Hazy IPA looks to locate the lupulin lore of hops native to New Mexico: Neomexicanus. A tall tale with roots in the Wild West, legend has it some wranglin' rustlers from Yakima came along and hitched their hoppy wagons to wild Neomexicanus hops, creating the breeds of fortune used in this year's NoBo: HBC-472, Talus, & Sabro. Cheers, and hoppy trails to YEW! Sure we couldn't invite you to make the trip, but we'd love to invite you to take a sip.

Picked this up on a recent trip to Windmill Farms. Topa Topa’s website called it “To the ends of the earth, will you hop with me? I love Talus and Sabro, and the one time I’ve had 472 (“…oak, bourbon barrels, coconut, vanilla, citrus, and sweet fruit) I liked, right up my alley.
Poured a light golden hazy color with three fingers of frothy white head. Just a few bubbles creeping up along the sides of the glass. World-class spiderweb layered lacing. Excellent retention. (Sight - 4.50)
Smelled oaky wood, coconut, cedar, pine, mint, vanilla, floral, citrus zest, tropical fruit and grapefruit. All three hops were noticeable (and similar), in order 472, Sabro and Talus. Even better out of the can. (Smell - 4.25)
Tasted even better than the nose. Got oaky wood, boozy bourbon, HBC 472, cedar, pine, coconut, mint, Sabro, vanilla, grapefruit, tropical fruit, citrus zest, Talus, pineapple and floral. Tasted much stronger than 6.9 pct. (Taste - 4.50)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Lively carbonation. Long, oaky finish. (Feel - 4.25)
Even better than I hoped with those hops. Damn it was excellent. (Overall - 4.25)
