Poured on-tap a ruby/pinkish under a one-inch thick light pink head which leaves spotty lace. Big blueberry fruit, funk and oak on the nose. Flavor follows with some tartness and yeasty notes. Semi-medium body and moderate carbonation. Clean, fruity and yeasty finish. A good one here.

a great beer, to be expected collaborating with the bruery, pretty cool for these guys to get to do that, instant street cred. this is way better than the not sour version, which for some reason also seems like it has about a third of the blueberries this one has. beautiful purple color here, saturated and intense, with a light pink head on top, perfectly clear. some sourness and even a slight cheesy funk in the nose, tons of jammy blueberry sweetness and tang from the skins, and not a whole lot of grain influence. the flavor is about the same, almost like a sour blueberry juice or something, not as much grain character is i like to see in any beer, but the flavor of the fruit is awesome, the sourness is right on, and there are some nice supporting flavors of lemon and red grape in here too. carbonation is solid and there is a little body, but its more from fruit sugar than from grain, i miss this being beer first, but its hard to complain. its tough to get this much blueberry flavor into a beer using real fruit, so nicely done there. pricey but delicious if you get in to this sort of thing...
