Kind of an Oktoberfest but also not. Didn't really know what to make of it, supposed to be session beer but also Oktoberfest...not a good combo

Moderate amber toned body; beautiful carbonation; thick and frothy, off-white head, sticky. Mild to moderate malt sweetness; light caramel; esters. Very mild flavors overall, especially on the malt-side; subdued caramel sweetness; low-key hop bitterness. Light to medium body; nice lager smoothness; light overall sweetness to the mouthfeel.
This is a nice beer yet rather band overall. The looks are great and the smell holds promise, but the taste and mouthfeel just seem weak. Yes, it's supposed to be a session beer, and it does seem like a festbier in a diminutive way, but with weak, almost flat taste doesn't seem to do justice for this Autumn beer tradition.
4.4% ABV; poured at 45 F; canned ?/13/21

L:. Pours a dark burnished copper orange with a small white head and no lacing on the glass.
S:. Toasted bread, sweet cereal malt, a touch of caramel and a light hop. Smells pretty malty for an Oktoberfest and the aroma is a little tame.
T:. Toasted bread, sweet cereal malt, a light floral hop and a light touch of caramel, not quote as strong as an regular Oktoberfest.
F:. Medium body, smooth carbonation.
O:. A little less strong than a regular Oktoberfest but still drinkable.

The feel is actually good but there's no aroma or flavors here. Idk why it has to be sessionable in the first place as a lot of Oktoberfests aren't that much higher in abv but anyways this ain't it chief. Among the worst I've had.
