L: Pours a hazy straw yellow with a foamy white head that dissipates quickly and leaves no lacing on the glass.

S: A mix of tropical fruit and sweetness, lemon, some grapefruit but overall aroma is a bit dull for a Hazy.

T: Lots of lemon peel and a little sweetness, and then slight bitterness and floral nothing really stands out about this taste.

F: Mouth feel is ok but it feels a little light and the carb is slightly off to my taste.

O: Not a very interesting hazy IPA, there are much better options out there.

cheeky name, solid ipa, new zealand hops, a bit cloudy but not one of those milk bombs, drinkable and modern, not too heavy in body, packing a little residual sugar but it highlights the hops, these guys are doing a lot of things well right now, and this hits ultra contemporary, like to the extent it could have a thiolized yeast in it, really bright and fruity, well done. sunny colored, pale orange toned, some light still coming through, average white head with some patchy lace at it drinks. nose and taste of cooked orange, ripe cantaloupe, musk melon, and smarties candy, definitely a concentrated up front hop thing, could be cryo or another hop product in play, and while its early and distinctive, its not over the top in terms of dosage, some weedy character, some white florals, some waxy honey, not green but an oily element to the mouthfeel thats more northwest to me than new zealand. the grain base seems minimal, cereal forward, clean enough, fermented out to near dry, a little resinous linger, white peach, white grape, lemon candy, and more of that melon thing, fruity but in a cool way. slightly filling maybe as these go, could stand a bit more carbonation, but i think this hits the mark pretty well, and the sort of terpy intensity of the hops makes it interesting. if this brewery was in pretty much any other city they would be a bigger deal, easy to lose a place like this in the crowded denver scene, but dont sleep on call to arms, some sneaky awesome beers in here, thats been true since they opened...
