Tastes like tucher festbier. Not really a Marzen and not my favorite.

Had a pint for $8.00 while visiting the Nashville location 9-10-2021.
This had the looks of a classic marzen. No notable nose and the taste was on the sweeter side and lacked the toasted malts and hopping to balance things out.

12oz can
thanks to Anthony for giving me a can to try
L: amber colored bier with a foamy beige head
S: grain, caramel, spicy hops
T: sweet bready grain, caramel; spicy/earthy hops provide ample balanced bitterness
F: medium body, moderate carbonation, balanced finish
O: good Märzen here

This is a rich, dark amber beer, perhaps similar to shiny dark copper depending on the lighting. It is gem clear and had a short-lived, almond head that was fine before leaving spotty lace on a PBGC Crispy Boi glass.
The aroma is dominated by toasted malt and followed closely with lots of caramel. White bread dough and sweet floral notes fill out the profile.
Sweet, earthy malt yields to a quick, bitter bite. The flavor is crisp, with caramel and malt throughout. Warmth reveals sun-brewed iced tea. The finish is modest and lingering, also bringing forward sun-brewed iced tea.
A medium body approaches fullness while the texture is soft and creamy. Prickly carbonation is as expected, while the alcohol is more present than expected.
This beer was reviewed about three months after canning, and still pops quite nicely. It is pleasant, though out of season. This was an unexpected reminder of how good a Marzen can be and I would love to try it again fresh.

Poured into a shaker pint glass. Crystal clear amber-orange color with a resilient off-white head that settled into a nice cap. The nose had sweet Vienna malt, bread, toast, and some floral hoppy notes. Bready malt up front on the palate, rounded with the floral hops and Vienna. More bitter than many, but it works well with the rich malt.
