Poured from growler into snifter and pint glasses.
Appearance: clear deep amber/caramel color thin creamy head and light to medium bubbles.
Nose: a muddy blend of caramel, malt, damp wood, bread, and a bit of roasted nuts.
Taste: similar to the nose, sweet toasty caramel, malt, spice and a soft moss covered log quality. I think of hiking in the sweet spot of early morning dew with a hot days sun already beating down.
