Ooh, mama...This Strong Scotch Style Ale is a malt-bomb of flavor. Dark and complex, it's made for those who have a deep desire for a layered, malt depth in their beer. With hints of cocoa and black licorice throughout, and a mild sweetness that is balanced in the finish by restrained bitterness and pleasant alcoholic warmth, this is a flavorful brew fit for a king.

10oz draft served in a becher glass at fridge temp at the Yee Haw location at Pigeon Forge 9% ABV 22 IBU. The beer pours dark brown with mahogany highlights and no visible head on my pour. The aroma is minimal. The taste is semisweet caramel with a hint of smoke and cocoa. Moderate bitterness, but not cloying. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied, adequately carbonated and mostly dry in the finish. No alcohol presence in the aroma or taste. Overall, good. Standard but well made Scotch Ale.

My first WOW beer from Yee-haw. Bought a four pack at grocery store. The abv of this beer is wonderfully hidden, not by any overpowering flavors, just a Damn well balanced background. Hey Yee'haw, how about keeping this one going?

12 oz bottle from TN.
Fine appearance with a clear but nearly opaque dark body topped by a durable and creamy beige head.
Lightly smokey, with the smoke building with repeated sipping. Moderately strong for style. Hints of molasses, peat, licorice and cocoa nibs.
As suggested by the name, this has a very smooth body and soft, near medium carbonation. More bitter than sweet.

Poured into a snifter. A rich chestnut brown color out of the bottle with a modest tan head. Malty aroma with caramel, brown bread, plum, anise, and a hint of licorice. All smooth malt on the first sip. Heavy and rich with a gentle warming on the finish. The spiciness is there but less than on the nose. The licorice is there on the finish. Full-bodied and a nice sipper.
