Our Beast of Burden carries a big, burly load of hops, greeting you with the aroma and flavors of resinous pine, lemongrass, passion fruit and fresh cut geraniums. Full-bodied and strong, its high ABV is hidden behind an ample malt frame with subtle notes of caramel, dried fruit, and undertones of fresh baked bread. With the red-hue of an Appalachian sunset and just as warming, let this Beast pull you into the night.

Clear dark copper body with a very good off-white head.
Aroma: sweet toffee and some raisins and other dark dried fruits. Spicy hops are surprisingly faint.
Flavor: well, there are plenty of hops in here, at least matching the grains in flavor intensity.
Smooth full body with medium carbonation.
