Bought a 750ml bottle from the brewery and brought it home. Poured into a pint glass and paired it with some Nashville Chicken Sandwiches to complete the Tennessee ambience.
Definitely boozy, and I like it that way; the beer is going for a Tennessee whiskey flavor and achieves that well. Hints of vanilla and chocolate are present. At 6 IBUs, the malt character is strong and complements the spiciness of the sandwiches quite well. Would definitely drink again!

Baltic Porter aged in Tennessee whiskey barrels.
This was a taster at the brewery. It was very, very whiskey forward. To the point it toned out all beer. Had no signs of barrel either. Just too harsh for what it is. Maybe it would’ve helped them to beef up the recipe of the porter.
