On draft at PBW. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of foam. It left sudsy sheets of lace on the glass. It smelled slightly smoky with chocolate and toffee. Nice smoky taste with sweet chocolate and toffee. Mild bitterness.

I'm trying this at the brewery. It poured an opaque dark with white head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had nice roast presence. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with mocha presence. The mouthfeel is lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a decent beer.

On tap at JPs in Paducah. A very nice, straightforward (but unremarkable) example of this style.

Pretty average in all respects except for taste, where this beer stood out on account of it's rich coffee flavors and overall roastiness. Easily the best beer available at Paducah Beer Works.

One of my favorite local craft brews. Smooth taste, excellent pour. You'll really like this if you're a dark beer fan.
