Sum is greater than the parts, but after driving from NYC on Winter Solstice at sundown in the mist - cannot go wrong. 7.7% ABV
A) Great start with a hazed copper body and thin head that lasts a bit.
S) Grain mix is leaning toward mid to dark roast, airy and grassy hop. Woody, sexy.
T) follows smell, and fresh like a bakery of dark breads. Whole grain.
F) Great tongue weight and long soothing finish.
O) As good a fresh baked copper ale as to be found anywhere, and as always, fresh / herbal / earthy.
