Gifted a can.
Nice example of a dark mild.
Carbonation is a little light, but not that low for the style.
Rich dark brown with ruby accents to light. Dark as expected but still a bit complex and attractive.
Nose and taste noted for biscuit malt, some light toffee. A bit of dried fruit and chocolate showed up as Beer warmed... almost porter like. Hops not really expected nor noticed.
Thin and light consistent with style, but I would have liked a bit more malt/backbone.
Drinkable and pretty representative of the style. Not in my wheelhouse but a decent pub sipper. Nice job!

This was my first foray into the Mild style. On tap at the brewery. Dark, porter-like color, roasted malt and some dark fruit notes, very little in the way of bitterness, but the subtle nuances were enjoyable. Something off about the mouthfeel, but nothing offensive. Good effort.
