From notes (2022). Had on tap at Lunkenheimer mothership in Weedsport. Chance luck to be able to drink it plain, as well as with both Woodruff and Raspberry syrups.
Absolutely spot on! Each was just a perfect example of what these beers would be in Berlin. Look, scent, taste, body…all excellent across all 3 versions.
I personally love Berliner Weisse with Woodruff… and this was their American stab at this I’ve tried.
Not surprised NY Brewers Association named this beer / Woodruff version best beer in 2022.
Lunkenheimer continues to increasingly impress me with their Germen brews.
