November 13th, 2015 - A nice brown beer with just a hint of blue in there and a dash of cassis, the aroma offers a delicate strength and a hint of fancy Spring time cocktails at a dim, overpriced bar. The smell is centered around blackberry and very sweet fig notes, but the flavor offers something more complex. The black pepper finish here is new, and the raw blackberry notes up front are familiar, but also distinct from the smell are smoky overtones which I rather enjoy.
