On tap at Karl Strauss in 4S Ranch, CA.
Follow The Sun? Like, what does that really mean? Should I Christopher Columbus it and sail away sail away sail away like an Enya single? It’s an ok beer. And that’s all Raul wanted. Light and nice. Nice and light.
Spank me.

Crowler from the Anaheim Karl Strauss. Golden yellow with fluffy white head. Buttery cracker aroma. Taste follows with a bit more malt than in the nose. Nice minerally hop finish. Highly drinkable.

On tap at Disney California Adventure Park; shared with my wife on Valentine's Day. Advertised as a Pilsner, so I'm a little confused in what style it actually is now, but no biggie in this day and age of hybrid styles. Poured into a plastic cup: a foamy white head rests atop a golden bodied beer with slight chill haze. Spicy and grassy aroma with some pale ir pilsner malt and mild citrus. Flavors are nutty & biscuity malt with grassy, spicy, and earthy noble hops. Light-to-medium body, moderate carbonation, crisp & dry finish. A good refresher after a long day at Disney. I'll have to do aome research on what style this actually is.

Light golden in color. Crystal clear. White foam rose a finger or so and almost instantly disappeared.
Slight peppery note followed by a subtle citrus smell. No malt to speak of in the nose.
Flavor is almost absent of any malt notes. It's mildly sweetness is hiding somewhere, generically, among the hops. Slightly floral hop bitterness with a slight pepper component.
While carbonation is not visible it does contribute to the mouthfeel.
Overall, I'm missing some of the distinctly Pils characteristics. And with no canning date to be found, I don't know if this is a fair example of what this beer is going for. But this is what I got.
