June 16th, 2016 - Weedy, grassy, lemony, peppery and very strong. This "experimental" Pale Ale has a lot of energy for a style low on hops. In fact, I'm skeptical that this isn't an IPA, but the style doesn't lie. So, those herbaceous aromas are coming from somewhere else. And as sharp as they are, the palate is soft and mellow, even masking the flavor. Is that the Jarryko talking? Probably, and while the palate is soft and fluffy, it's overwhelming the shine on the flavor.
