The brewer revisited this Southern Hemisphere pale ale beer with new hops, Pacifica and Southern Cross. A juicy tropical taste with an aftertaste that sticks around in a pleasant way.

This beer is a nice match to the warm weather in San Diego at this time.

A beer I will revisit when possible.

According to the brewer, this one is made with Wakatu and Helga hops. Clear golden amber in the pint nonic with plenty of foam. A little tropical fruit flavor. Not too sweet and not very bitter at all.

This is a splendidly balanced and highly drinkable brew. Lots of hops in a lighter, friendlier package than about a million IPAs. Drier than Bay City's San Diego Pale Ale. On tap at the brewery behind the Sports Arena.
