Slghtly hazy pale amberish brew with a modest foam in the tall glass. Some straw and a hint of lime in the nose. Very light malt taste but a hint of sweetness, a bit of tropical flavors, and even a touch of apricot in the finish. finish. Not very bitter at all.
Until I managed to find my notes I was at a loss for what style of beer this is. IPA is not the first thing that comes to mind. I'd call it a really decent Blonde Ale with the touch of hops. On the other hand, so many "session IPAs" are so bitter and unpalatable. This one at least is light and gulpable. From the 32 oz crowler purchased at the brewery tasting room.
