October 2nd, 2016 - Hazy and cereal colored, this is a delightful pale ale from Helix, with a slight happiness in the aroma and even a rusty, metallic tone. The sweetness expresses mashed and braised pear. The flavor is also metallic yet sweet, with a lighter body weight and palate. A squeeze of apple juice is also in the aftertaste, nicely balanced again a residual shadow of bitterness.
