The Goat Roper Brown Porter is brown in color. The pour is very fluid and has a medium head. The smell is very nutty and sweet. This is a very aromatic beer. The taste is sweet, but not overpowering. Upon the first sip sweet notes of raisin, toffee, coffee, malt, caramel, and chocolate. The mouth feel isn't heavy on the tongue. It's very light in the mouth. Overall this is a great beer for those who run away from hoppy IPAs and Double IPAs.
