This beer pours a nice color, somewhere between amber and brown. The head was frothy, 1 finger, and off white.
The nose is quite pleasing. Some maltiness, with a hint of sweetness.
The taste is not so good. It's got a sweetness that isn't pleasing to me.
Watery is a good way to describe this beer. Minimal body.
Overall, not good in my book. I've had another beer from them, before I joined here, and this one continues with the sub par beers I've had from them.

nice, brown ale with some lovely garnet notes when held up to the light. soapy lacing.
smell is toast, and some nuttiness. nothing remarkable here, but right on for style.
taste is pretty hard to pinpoint - there's not much besides perhaps a little sugary sweetness before a lingering bitterness.
feel is sugary. mouth is medium carbonation that rinses reasonably clean, but then there's a bit of that sugar again that sits at the back of my mouth.
certainly not my favorite brown, but a good example of a style that gets overlooked.

L: Pours brilliant brown with ruby highlights from a can into an ale glass producing as persistent tight tan foam cap.
S: Toffee, nut, grainy malt, light toast and spice aromas.
T: Rich malt flavors include toffee and nuts balanced by a very mild bitterness. The malt is medium high, the hop bitterness is medium to medium low, spiciness is medium, sweetness is medium low. Has a moderately dry finish with lingering toffee and nut flavors.
F: Creamy medium body and medium high carbonation.
O: A tasty brown ale with rich malt flavors.

Thanks to garymuchow for this one. 120z can poured into 10oz goblet. Poured a lightly translucent medium brown color, with just a thin cap of tan head that had low retention and no lace.
The aroma was typical for the style, malty, sweet, and with a touch of caramel in the background. That also describes the the flavor profile. No new ground being broken here. But, it's a very well executed version. And, since this style is one the great majority of breweries around me have chosen to ignore, it was a very nice treat to have this well brewed brew.
The body was very nice, smooth, even, and just semi-sweet on the finish. Drinkability was awesome, I could easily see drilling a sixer, and not even realizing it, until you went back for another and they were all gone. Overall, a very, very nice brew. Maybe not the "sexiest" brew, but a damn enjoyable one. Try some when you can.

My least favorite of the 3 I've tried so far and that's not because it's bad, cuz' it's not, but more that it's a brown ale which is kind of the "meh" of beers styles.
I wasn't sure if to put Am. brown or English but the description on the can notes, "hints of roasted nut & toffee with a creamy oatmeal finish", and so I went with Am. since the oatmeal wouldn't be a traditional english brown ale ingredient (at least not that I know of).
Kind of a nutty malty aroma, simple but on target. Slightly sweet.
Certainly a brown ale with reddish highlights and smallish off-white head.
The nut and toffee are there but they are light and blending. There is a soft hop finish which is unique and nice.
A smaller beer at 4.7% and that shows in the feels which is lighter. I think the gas is a little overdone, but that might be a compensation for a lower alc. beer. Still as with the others the bubbles are fine, soft and lend a bit of creaminess to the feel.
On a hot day this went down pretty well for a malt forward beer.
