Poured out a clear, amber color with a bubbly small white head. It smelled of sweet caramel malt and citrus. This was more sweet and malty. A little weak on the hop bite. A crisp and sharp ale with a dry finish.

F-Town's American Red Ale pours a dark mahogany color. The head is small, and recedes very quickly into nothing. The aroma is malty with some caramel and general sweetness. It is quite a mild aroma too. The taste is mild as well. There is some roasted malt character, and some caramel, but it is all quite tame. Neither the flavor nor the aroma have any sort of hop presence. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with a smooth texture, and ample carbonation. Overall, this is a decent beer. I can't find any flaws in it, but I also can't see myself buying it again.
