This isn't very good. Scott a real Raw coffee grounds experience both in the taste and the aroma. It lays really harsh on the tongue with a striking bitterness and dryness that is not appealing. Body is fairly thin, as well there's no sense of richness or smoothness to the field. In time a little sweetness with Chocolat comes through that helps out a little bit. Little to no head upon pouring and it's got a very thin look with a dark brown color.

Pours a black color. 1/4 inch head of a tan color. Decent retention and good lacing. Smells of strong coffee, roasted malt, sweet malt, hint of chocolate, and a hint of hops. Fits the style of an American Stout. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. There is also a roasted bitterness. Tastes of strong coffee, roasted malt, sweet malt, hint of chocolate, hint of pale malt, hint of alcohol, and a hint of hops. Overall, strong upfront, good blend, and good complexity.

Black color but not much happening in the head and lacing department which isn't too surprising considering its low ABV. Aroma of darkly roasted coffee, chocolate, and a bit of roasted malt along with a bit of smoke. Tastes like French Roast coffee with a bit of chocolate syrup added. A little bit of roasted malt but the beer is barely noticeable. Light body but has nice carbonation. It is a nice beer but what a poor value. When Bent Paddle Cold Press, Summit Dark Infusion, or even Tin Whiskers Tiny Circuit are sitting next to it, all are better beers then this and they are a much better values for stronger beers.

Not a lot to get excited about here. Pours thin like a soda. Has some mocha flavor but this is really a thin porter at best. I can't imagine myself paying for this again.
