F-town Moon Boots Peanut Butter Porter, 5.1% ABV, 24 IBU. Pours black with no head. Nose is peanuts, taste follows, slight chocolate, with no notable bitterness. Lightly carbonated and smooth, decent mouthfeel. Overall very good. Let this one warm - the chocolate really came out when warm.

Poured from 16oz can into glass. No canning date information found on can.
Dark brown colored body, with an abundance of rising bubbles. Thin tan head on pouring quickly disappears. No lacing.
Strong nutty (peanut butter) and candy bar chocolate aromas. Roasted malts in the background.
Taste is peanut butter and chocolate, followed by a metallic fruity flavor (oxidation?).
Thin mouth feel. Good carbonation.
I wish the fruity flavor did not intrude so much on the peanut butter and chocolate. The smell is better than the taste. Maybe a tap pour would be a way to bring a taste comparison.

Poured a dark, dark brown color with a small, tan head of foam. It smelled of peanut butter and chocolate notes. Lots of peanut butter flavor with a little less chocolate than I hoped for. Still good.

Pours a very dark brown colour. Sweet milk choco nose, nougat, peanut butter cups and demarara sugar. Smells heavy and sticky sweet. Tastes lighter than it smells. Chocoate mocha, earthy hops, heavy milk chocolate flavour lends a creamy mouthfeel throughout and the carbonation cuts enough to lighten it up. Lingering syrupy peanut butter cup finish.

L: pours deep dark brown with a thin light tan cap that fizzles away quickly
S: smells of chocolate, peanut butter. coffee and roast
T: initially mildly sweet with chocolate and peanut butter leading the flavors
F: There is very little carbonation and a medium body
O: The balance between the peanut butter and the roast malts is good but the beer would improve with a rich creamy testure from a fine soft carbonation.

Pours dark brown. Foamy, medium, light brown head that lasts shortly
Smells peanut, nutty, earthy, chocolate, light roast and nutty bar.
Tastes peanut butter, chocolate and roasted malts. Followed by earthy and a tangy metallic fruit flavor. Finish is semi dry with a roasted malt linger. Lighter medium body and lightly fizzy higher medium carbonation.
