A very well balanced imperial IPA. Great overall taste and smooth profile. Hides the alcohol very well. I picked this up the day it was canned and was very pleasantly surprised.

Hazed orange-bronze color with a reddish-pinkish hue. Finger of light tan head leaves thin sheets of lacing.
Big piney aroma with a touch of orange and caramel malt. A little wood behind.
The taste largely follows the nose. There's a big piney bite up front, some orange and malty sweetness mid-palate and then a surprisingly smooth, creamy woodiness. Fairly strong bitterness mixed with light wood in the aftertaste.
Thick bodied with a creamy feel, and just enough carbonation to cut through.
This is a really tasty one. Nice West Coast forest vibe without overdoing it on the cypress wood. 9/8/17 canned on date.
