-DDH with Citra.
A: Light and aerated bone white colored capping is fairly large and dominate in the glass with large cavernous voids outlining the glass walls. A bright bees wax yellow colored body settles with a good clarity and dense offering of carbonation filling the voids. Some splotchy small foam patches.
S: Peachy and pineapple scents, lightly tart, lightly sweet, with a faint onion grass aroma. Some breakfast melon, fresh fruity cantaloupe with a good strength factor overall.
T: Golden barley and golden fruit on the initial impression for flavor. Bright crisp citrusy orange hops, fruity peaches and pineapple that are sharp and well defined from the citra. Flowery after feel of grapefruit pulp flowers with a nice spiciness and grassy balance. Semi-dry hop fade.
M: Good crispness on the mouthful, sharp and slippery feel with a soft background of carbonation. Light to medium body, with a light flowery hop fade on the tongue.
O: Overall a decent everyday, everyman ipa. The DDH is perhaps a bit underwhelming to the hardcore hop fan, but seems more balanced making for an easy and accessible drink.

Bought two from Tavour. Had this one and gave away the second to a hop-head buddy. I gave it away not because the experience was not good, but rather because it was not worth duplicating... me being a malt-head.
Baby Insane has a fluffy head, which is OK but not inviting. Smells are clearly Citra; better than OK, but not full. Tastes are well-balanced... just enough bitter to balance the fruit punch bowl affect. In the mouth, enough carbonation refreshes to take another gulp and, soon, the 16 ounces is gone.
As for my brewer review of Cypress... They have good marketing for a 5 year old. I went on their website and they are struggling like everyone else because the U.S. does not have a national Covid policy. That aside, Cypress will probably make it because of their marketing... although they clearly are an IPA shop.

A Tavour treat. Pours a pale gold color with a minimal head that lasts quite a while. Aroma of grapefruit and citrus fruit. Tastes slightly of grapefruit. Crisp with a hoppy finish.

The pour looks like urine with a white head, active carbonation and short lived lacing to confirm it is beer. Thankfully it doesn't smell like urine, instead very pine and lime zest forward, orange, and subtle pineapple present too. Taste has flashes of herbal/medicinal notes before the pine hits, almost a juniper berry and melon combo too, with lime and orange zest dominating afterward. Odd flavors for sure. Feel is dank, piney, bitter, dry and medium bodied but the finish is muted. Solid but has some weaknesses that you get stuck on

Cypress Brewing Co. "Baby Insane"
1 pint can, "CANNED ON 01/30/20 12:45:45 INSANITY OR GENIUS?". Sampled on 02/13/20
$3.99 @ Roger Wilco, Pennsauken, NJ
Notes via stream of consciousness: It's poured a cloudy golden body beneath a inch of so of bright white foam. The aroma is pretty limited for a double dry hopped IPA that's less than two weeks old. It's citrusy but not particularly specific - I'd say lemon and orange - and also a touch peachy. There's some basic malt beneath that and it's pleasant, just not as bold as I thought it would be. On to the flavor... it's sharp and citrusy with more lemon than orange and the same peach that's found in the nose. A little bit of lychee fruit comes out towards the swallow and at the start of the finish. It's not that bitter but there is some acidity to it and it finishes dry. The malt that's there isn't that sweet and that helps in drying it. It's citrusy but not really "juicy" as it's not that sweet. It almost seems watery. How strong is it? Just 4.9% ABV? That explains a lot. I was originally thinking it was fermented out and thus there were no sugars left, but the fact is that it's just started with less sugars. And that's OK, this is a "baby" beer. In the mouth it's medium-light in body and crisp, giving it an initial zestiness on the tongue before it warms to become a bit smoother. In the end I think this would be a great spring or summer beer but I'm just not feeling it right now in February as it just seems a little lacking.

L - pours a meandering yellow orange haze with a good amount of head. Big bubbles form the lattice structure beneath.
S - hm, smells like it has a lot more booze in it. Oily hops and pineapple orange candy. Light, crisp melon and whiffs of vague tartness.
T - light tangerine dream. Refreshing fruity flavors of bubblegum, satsuma, and red grapefruit. Mellow, oaty grains thicken up the flavor and smooth out all the sharp corners. A bit of acidic tingling from the dry hops in the finish, along with onions.
F - feel is fantastic for a sub-fiver. Full-bodied without being heavy. Quite satisfying.
O - I've never had the big brother, but if this is any indication, it is also great. Amazing amount of flavor packed into such a small package with bright, focused flavors and a delicate use of dry-hopping that zestifies the flavors without destroying your palate with hop residue and acidity.

Modest finger deep head of bright white, pocked but more or less even surface, given where it started from the retention is very good, leaves one long and wispy streak for lacing. The liquid is a light yellow, only deepened by the full cloudiness, warm glow, a few bubbles seen scurrying upwards against the glass. The nose flits about playfully, mainly white grapefruit pith with tar, marijuana resin, and damp herbal matter in reserve, clean enough that the apricot, nectarine to green apple scents come through fine. Medium-bodied and could be considered heavier by some, lays itself down fully across the palate. Not much bitterness at all, the carbonation provides a soft churn rather than sharpen its focus. Same strong emphasis on white grapefruit here, perhaps sweeter than expected (especially for a double dry hopped beer). Resiny, at times peppery, any funkiness most obvious at the finish with aftertaste. Smooth and while monochrome it’s pure simple pleasure from start to finish.
