Thanks to thehyperduck that just added this beer on the 23th July 2015.
So Sleeman Beechwood Smoked Lager that you can have here in Canada as the Sleeman Selection and comes also with the Honey Brown, the Silver Creek and the Cream Ale.
So lets get smoked.
So the look of it: Amber almost red color to it on the light, orange and yellow without the light.
The smell of it: Smoked almost smell like smoked bacon. Maybe a touch of caramel but very light. The smoked takes over on 99% of the smell
The taste of it: Smoked bacon. Very weird to say about a beer that taste like smoked bacon but it goes down so easily. Very inoffensive. The finish is not dry at all. Very light on the after taste. The feels is really good. This is actually a much better beer than the Sleeman lift.
So overall would I recommend it ? For sure ! You are doing a BBQ on a hot summer day, and you wanna drink a Lager beer, just go for it ! I had a chicken wings with it and the aroma comes together.
Very well made beer Sleeman. I just wish it could have come with a 12 packs !

341 mL bottle picked up at TBS; dated Apr 29 2015 and served well-chilled. Three bottles of this smoked lager are included in their most recent Seasonal Selections mixed pack.
Pours a clear, brilliant orange-amber colour, producing one finger of loose, soapy, stained off-white head. It fades away rapidly, lasting no more than a minute or two. It is replaced with a thin, dense collar of foam, but otherwise the surface (and glass) are looking pretty bare. The aroma actually does have a nice beechwood smoke quality to it - it's a few orders of magnitude less intense than in a no-nonsense rauchbier, but it's definitely there. However, the nose is still very straightforward in construction - suggestions of savory bacon, smoked wood and some caramel malt sweetness.
Not too bad, by any means - it's a serviceable beer, but a bit too sweet for my preferences. Caramel, grainy malts, corn husk and some weakly fruity undertones aptly describe the first half of the profile. Towards the finish, the flavour takes a woody turn, as hints of smoke and a touch of bacon begin to make things a bit more interesting. Malty sweetness lasts for a brief moment into the aftertaste, but this fades quickly, leaving behind a pleasant off-dryness on the taste buds. Light-medium in body, with prickly carbonation. No complaints about the texture, or the drinkability (which is relatively high, at least IMO).
Final Grade: 3.32, a B-. I had to crack open a bottle of this before submitting it into the database: just because the word 'smoked' is in the name, does not mean that it really qualifies as a smoked beer. Sleeman's Beechwood Smoked Lager probably isn't going to be reminding rauchbier fans of their last trip to Bamberg, but it is a reasonably decent macro attempt. The beechwood smoke is perceptible, and the profile has a slight meaty/savory quality to it, one that may even be significant enough to qualify as off-putting to the most finicky palates. It's an interesting choice of beer to include in a sampler pack like this, that's for sure. It's not worth going out of your way for - and if you're not big on Cream Ale or Honey Brown, I can understand why you'd want to pass on this sampler - but if you're like me and don't mind most Sleeman products, you might as well give it a shot.
