Our second collaboration with Origin Coffee, and what a beauty.

We've taken our base Burnthouse Porter recipe, bumped up the ABV and infused it with an amazingly fruity variety of coffee beans. The result is a beer full of depth, intrigue and coffee character.

Coffee: Las Brisas (Pineapple, Tangerine, Dark Chocolate)

De OkassionalBeer. En copa Teku. Jugando a Mass Effect 2. Un perfil muy marcado y delicioso a café tostado que hace que no se sienta nada aguada a pesar del bajo abv, resultando tanto muy bebible como muy sabrosa

I'm liking Verdant and I've only had two from them now. The first was five and half years ago and now they are twelve. They have four venues and are adding a fifth in London. They outgrew their original brewery and had enough friends/drinkers to crowdfund an expanded brewery. And they are prolific, with some 291 brews on BA. Seeing how well they have grown after starting in one of the far corners of the island, I give them excellent Overall Hugs.

They also have done a good job with their porter's coffee edition. But it could Look better; the foam fades too quickly and I give it average marks. Smells are much better and blend nicely my two favourite beverages that use little and no hops respectively. Tastes show the same balance with the coffee acting with the porter, both fruity and bitter/stale/dry.
Medium-mouthed. I'll drink this variant side-by-side with the original.
