Drank from English pub glass at the brewery. Served near 37F.
A- A translucent but dark brown/amber color with a thick, dense, slightly-off-white head. Great lacing. head lingered for almost the entire 25 min drinking session.
S- Floral, sweet hops. Raisin, molasses, toast. Little bit of pine hiding in there.
T- Complex flavors. Dark fruits with slight tart currant flavor. On the sweeter side with strong floral and pine hops. Brewery calls it an ESB with makes sense for malt/hop balance.
M- Medium body with lingering sweetness and sharp, crisp bitterness. Carbonation is high but works.
O- Not my favorite blend of flavors but an interesting beer nonetheless.
