Conditioned on Hazelnuts and Pecans. Decadent delivery of pralines, hazelnuts & medium molasses countered by heavy malt roast, cocoa powder, dash of allspice, roasted pecans, almonds, & a bit of blackstrap to start. Dates, chocolate liqueur, & hints of grapefruit pith resonate approaching the finish. Mouth-coating.

Can straight from the brewery (dated 3/9/23, or two days old - the guy said it was fresh!) into pint glass. Pours motor-oil black with a persistent medium tan head. No lacing. Initial impression is cocoa, molasses, nuts, and a hint of dark fruits. Alcohol extremely well hidden. Mouthfeel is thick, smooth, and sticky. Finish fades to a slightly sweet nutty cocoa. Overall, it's a fantastic Imperial Stout. HRBC does some fantastic work.
