Aged in a single Utopias barrel. Chocolate covered raisins, bourbon & oak, a hint of marshmallow & marzipan, dates, smooth warming sweet alcohol & roasted malt through the finish, velvety.

Received presumably a 2025 500 ml bottle from @jzeilinger 10-16-25. Consumed 4-16-26.
Beer poured black with a very nice tan head with the original pour.
Nose is light roasted malts that emits chocolate with dates. Getting a freshly opened peanut jar addition. Not getting much from the barrel.
Taste is light roast, chocolate, and nuts that is nicely added. Barrel gives me some booziness and balance only.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and pretty smooth but not overly viscous.
Overall, i like the adjunct play, not heavy handed and find this balanced by the barrel without any special nuances.

A - Black pour with no lacing and no carbonation with light viscosity on the sides of the glass.
S - Chocolate malt base is overshadowed with a nutty, raison, and date presence along with some char on the nose.
T - Bourbon, dates, and some nuttiness over top a chocolate char malt base.
M - Medium body with lots of warming in the back of the throat.
O - There's a nice chocolate malt base but it gets trodden down with almonds and dates (and other adjuncts) which totally destroys the flavor profile (IMO). Not worth the $25 price tag.
