Whole cone Chinook, Simcoe Cryo, CTZ, Citra
Malt & hops coalesce w/ resinous pine & freshly baled Timothy hay, dried orange peel & bergamot. From the malt front; notes of leather equine harness, mulch, & a touch of black licorice, surprisingly full bodied with grapefruit & bakers chocolate on the finish

Purchased directly from the brewery. Pours a dark hazy reddish-brown color with a thick gravelly head. Citrusy aroma with pumpernickel bread notes. There’s a unique citrusy grapefruit taste mixed with a dark roasted malt chocolaty essence. Moderate mouthfeel with light carbonation. Overall, quite interesting and very good. I wasn’t able to find a Cascadian lager designation so I listed this as a Black IPA which it’s very similar to!
