Verdant Vistas pours a clear golden-yellow with minor amber highlights. The aroma is slightly funky and includes notes of citrus rinds, grapefruit, gooseberry, and white wine grapes. The light to medium mouthfeel brings heavy initial gooseberry flavors with hints of lime, grapefruit, and bubblegum. A more dry, funky flavor reminiscent of a fermenting orchard finishes out the flavor while drying out the palate.

A 2024 addition to our fresh hop beer lineup. Head Brewer Alex Rhinehart and Ohio Valley Hops Farmer Dave Volkman have worked on several uses of a relatively new hop, Vista, over the last year. Last fall, Dave mentioned he thought Vista would be a great saison hop, and Alex agreed. Well, a year later, after lots of logistical planning and brew schedule shuffling a fresh hop saison featuring freshly picked Ohio Valley Hops' Vista has come to life.
