Can into Nonic Pint
Look: Nice opaque ambery orange, pouring a off white, creamy one finger head which slowly dissipated to a very thin cpa
Smell: Dark caramel, and sweet nuttiness. Toasted sourdough bread crust, and herbal hops. Medium nose
Taste: Toasted malt, nutty, Caramel. Swallow carries those flavors along with a light yeasty note. Finish dries out a little bit, carries that nutty malty
Feel: Lighter body, moderate carbonation, crisp
Overall: Interesting brew due to the sheer amount of nuttiness in it. But overall it is good

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a deep amber color with a tiny fizzy head of white foam. The head fades super quick, leaving almost no lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is strong of a biscuit and bready smell mixed with notes of nut and grain. Along with these aromas comes a good showing of toffee and a hit of harvest fruits of pear as well as some smells of butternut squash.
Taste – The taste starts with bready and biscuit malt flavor as may have been anticipated from the nose. There are also some sweeter flavors of toffee and caramel along with a note of apple cider and grape juice. As the taste advances there is a bit of nut and notes of hay and must that join in, and with a bit of earthiness, taking the taste with the rest of the flavors to its end.
Mouthfeel – The body is medium to light in creaminess and thickness with a moderate carbonation level.
Overall – A decent brew but nothing to go out of your way for.

Dirty gold to copper color. Clear. Large initial head but it fades to rim bubbles quickly leaving only an occasional steak for lace.
Light white toast aroma.
Neutral carbonation and body. Traditional lightly roasted malts dominate the taste. There’s a bit of cream and light bitterness in the swallow. The aftertaste has an earthiness to it.

Canned on 7/22/24; consumed on 9/30/24
Pours a murky, dishwasher-chestnut hue capped with a finger of fluffy, off-white foam; mediocre head retention leaves a sliver of cap, modest, frothy collar, and a limited array of webby lacing around the walls of the glass.
Aroma is sweetly nutty upfront, with off-mineralic tinges halted with almost overbearing brown sugar notes prior to fruity, yeasty esters taking over on the back end of the bouquet.
Taste is largely watery, with touches of brown bread and vague grain flitting into tepid toast as caramel essence meanders through a formless profile.
Mouthfeel shows a medium-light body and a sparse spritz of otherwise rounded carbonation, remaining crisp and clean toward a quick finish.
Little engagement to be found in this Festbier; lazy malt array and a weak, sloppy overall execution.

Draft at the brewery
Fair foamy head with fair retention, clear amber to orange color
Nose grainy bready malt, toasted bread crust, very toasted crust like, herbal hop
Taste very malty, grainy doughy malt, cereal, toasted grain and bread crust, light herbal hops, fair bitterness, mild grainy-sweet malt, soft lager with fairly dry finish, lingering med to lighter bitterness
Mouth is med bod, soft lager, med carb
Overall not bad for American festbier, ok without the decoction malt depth

Pours a light amber with off white head. I get some sourdough bread crust and floral hop character on the nose. It's dry and pleasing to drink. It has some of that almond flesh character. Less fest, more Vienna, but this kind of works in terms of being a less chewy Vienna. Well attenuated. Enjoyed this.
