Clear burnt gold with a thin white head settling to a thick creamy collar around a sparse film.
It does indeed have those underlying lager qualities of corn & white buns, but there's a pleasantly herbal hop presence paired with a mildly bitter saison yeast to distinguish it. This is only made more special by the fact that there is no hefe clovey-ness or any of the coriander of a wit here--the saison chops at Little Fish are solid!
I've also noticed that they consistently carb their beers really nicely--here, the fluffy medium to fully body finishes just barely paper dry.
An interesting take, and as the late Bob Ross would say, a happy accident.
