A saison brewed with Ohio-grown barley, corn, and rye, and hopped with a light dose of European-origin hops. After a stainless-steel fermetation with our favored saison yeast, we bottle and keg condition Dirt Cred with our blend of house cultures (Lactobacillus,Pediococcus, and Brettanomyces), which adds sourness and complexity. The 1500 ml green bottles allow for UV light to contact the hops, which contributes an intentional light-struck quality to the hops aroma.

1500 ML bottle
Served in a tulip glass
This beer pours a hazy golden hue. It is topped with several inches of lively, eggshell head that leaves some rocky lacing.
It has a sour aroma. I get some peach and pear notes. I get da funk! Nice sour aromas.
I get some stone fruit upfront. Then sour and funk flavors. A little dank basement in the finish with just a hint of being light struck as intended by the brewer.
Lighter bodied with a slightly dry finish
I am a sucker for malt liquor. This is a bit deceiving, since it is really a farmhouse ale. It is quite good. I kind of wish I would have sat on it longer, but since it is a magnum bottle it didn't fit well on any of my shelves in the basement, so I had to pull the trigger. Nice beer. Probably should have shared it, but I am a selfish bastard.
