First had poured from a howler, purchased the day before at Tobermory Brewing, Tobermory, Ontario, Canada, into a clear plastic tumbler. Above average märzen, with roasty malts and a slightly briny drying finish.

Forgot I had this review that I wrote during the Summer when I had this. May as well upload it now.
Appearance: Red amber body, steady carbonation with a finger of head that doesn't lace but does retain.
Smell: Abundant, almost excessive caramel and toffee malt wit an earthy undertone. Warming brings it out slightly more.
Taste: Caramel toffee builds with a hint of plum and a slight bitter grass touch before earthy hops clean things up.
Mouthfell: A bit low in the carbonation department, but good transitioning. Issues with the lack of head, but the slight earth aftertaste leaves a clean experience.
Drinkability: On the lighter end of medium bodied, refreshing, flavourful and easy on the system allowing it to overcome it's smaller flaws.
Final Thoughts: A respectable offering, but the malt presence is a bit overboard. Still a solid fall drinker.
