Philosopher's Wit - Cardinal Gin Barrel-Aged

Came in a stemmed glass a hazed dirty blond with a thick white head atop that was gone pretty quickly.Pine and sweet alcohol really stood out in the nose,the botanicals lightly lingered.The botanicals from the gin barrel played a much bigger role on the palate,slightly floral and pine-like with an underlying white grape, toasted wheat base,the alcohol really gets big after awhile.An interesting beer,not a fan of gin but the botanicals really made the palate complex.
