A: Pours a murky pale to medium yellow in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate medium golden yellow + straw yellow colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense sudsy foamy bright white head that reduces to a few small to medium sized patches of medium thick film surrounded by a large patch of very thin film covering the entire surface of the beer and a thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate to significant amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate to strong aromas of juicy citrus/grapefruit, tropical/mango, floral, and herbal hops over the top of light to moderate aromas of biscuit malts with a moderate amount of grainy sweetness. Moderate aromas of rye spiciness.

T: Upfront there are just shy of moderate flavors of biscuit malts + oats with a light to moderate amount of grainy sweetness. Moderate amounts of rye malt spiciness. Finally there are moderate to strong flavors of juicy citrus/grapefruit, tropical/mango, floral, and herbal hops which impart a hint of bitterness which fades away quickly leaving lingering juicy hop flavors.

M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Crisp upfront, smooth through the middle, and a light to moderate amount of dryness in the finish.

O: Really enjoyable - the addition of rye to a NE-style DIPA is really successful. Very pleasant juicy hop flavors and aromas with minimal bitterness and really well hidden alcohol make this one easy to drink + refreshing.
