Appearance: Pours a cloudy honey coor with a very fizzy three fingers of foam that slowly settles; strips and dots of lacing
Smell: The apple fritter elements come through in the aroma though the tartness is apparent enough that it is clearly a sour; the Bourbon-fired cinnamon is a unique but subtle component
Taste: The apple fritter is more subtle on the palate than the aroma as the sour elements are more prominent; the Bourbon-fired aspect of the cinnamon flavor is lost in the sour tones, however, and I cannot find it as I did in the aroma; the finish is clearly tart with the sweeter elements receding
Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with moderate carbonation
Overall: Been a while since I have tried anything from Newgrass and I hadn't yet noticed all the work they were doing in pastry sours - worth checking them out

Pours cloudy and medium yellow, very thick for the style and abv, minimal head. Smells like orange juice and a hint of yellow cake. Flavor is apple up front mixed with light cinnamon. Cake batter is prominent and delicious. Light carbonation and very thick body. Overall a fantastic beer, so glad I got to try it.

Pours a hazy and turbid orange with a pinky finger frothy head. You can also see what appears to be apple floaties. To the nose, you get a faint sense of sweet sugar cinnamon. The very sweet taste includes apples, cinnamon, and slight yellow cake batter. It feels very full with a slight to medium thickness. Good sense of effervescence present as well. Overall a really good crafted sour. The flavor has a good balance and definitely leaves you wanting more.
