The first Radler (German for “cyclist”) was mixed in June of 1922 by a German innkeeper who didn’t have quite enough beer for the thousands of cyclists stopping by. He stretched his supply with fruit juice, and the rest is history. Our Radler blends real grapefruit juice and craft lager for crisp refreshment with an ever-so-slightly bitter finish. Hallertau hops and traditional small-batch brewing combine to make this the perfect decision on a hot day. Simply put, crisp and uber refreshing!

At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a pint glass. From The Roundhouse Centre LCBO on Howard Ave. in nearby Windsor. No date stamp or lot number. My 4th beer from the Kitchener, Ontario brewery, and for 2025. Adored by Gracie the cat...

Pretty much as expected and advertised: it's a low-abv fruited beer. Lots of citrus flavor and VERY sweet with a little bit of a wheaty aftertaste. Not a great beer, but decent for what is sets out to accomplish.

16 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 3/8/2018. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy pale golden yellow color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of huge lightly tart ruby red grapefruit juice, citrus peel/zest, lemon, pear, white grape, red apple, cracker, white bread, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance of fruit juice, moderate pale malt, and light earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of huge lightly tart ruby red grapefruit juice, citrus peel/zest, lemon, pear, white grape, red apple, cracker, white bread, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate fruit tang/tartness; and light herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart ruby red grapefruit juice, citrus peel/zest, lemon, pear, white grape, red apple, cracker, white bread, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome robustness and balance of fruit juice, moderate pale malt, and light earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/tartness balance, and no puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from tart/tangy fruit, and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with very smooth, moderately grainy/acidic/tangy, and lightly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 3.1%. Overall this is an awesome radler! All around great robustness and balance of fruit juice, moderate pale malt, and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink, with the mellowly acidic/tangy/drying finish. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Amazingly vibrant citrus/fruit juice flavors; with a solid pils malt backbone, and mild earthy hops. A really enjoyable offering, and amazing style example.

Hazy pale yellow with a fizzy head. Strong grapefruit nose. Very mild malt, more juice than beer flavour. Ok but better radlers out there.

473 mL can
Served in a pint glass
This beverage pours pale yellow in color with a slight haze. With all the bubbles on the side of the glass it looks like a pop more than a beer. It has a fleeting white head that leaves no traces once it disappears.
It has a sweet grapefruit aroma. The smell reminds me of Squirt.
It has a sweet soda taste with some grapefruit flavor.
Thin and soda-like. Highly effervescent
I just mowed the lawn and this is refreshing as hell. It is really hitting the spot. This is what I expect in a radler.

When comparing this Radler to those of Moosehead, Rickards, etc., this is very good. Great flavour, although not particularly "real grapefruit" tasting. Still good on a hot day.
For an authentic Radler experience, I don't think there is any other way to go but Stiegl.
