a really spot on session ipa with a bit of wheat in the grain bill and some orange peel added as well. one of the best beers we had here on out visit, and a perfect beer for the florida humidity and heat. clear in the glass for being wheat based, and very pale, a lazy white layer of head rises and falls slowly. amazing nose on this one, pure juicy hops, i get fresh limes and tangerines here, some almost acidic citrus intensity, but still somehow really light overall for how vibrantly aromatic the hops are. i get the orange peel and the oils it seems to add as well, all very fresh. the flavor actually starts a little bitter for a second, leafy green hops, its bold for a session, but only for a brief moment before the wheat comes in and the beer finds balance and evolves it almost splashy juicy ripe fruity with the hops later on. the orange i think adds more bitter than the hops do, bright citrus all the way through the finish, which is just a shade short of bone dry. has to be some citra in here, maybe amarillo too, lots of late additions, way more flavorful and beery feeling than a lot of watery generic sessions. great carbonation here, very light body but the wheat helps give it little flesh nevertheless. i could drink a dozen of these on a hot day! great work on this.
